THE FIRST PUBLIC UCF GATHERINGS
Summer 2008
After 10 years of ministry and searching, Unidiversal Charismatic Christian Faith & Diversity Evangelism has found no church resembling this ministries priorities less than 75 miles from North-Central Indiana (Pierceton). Our priority has not been to start a new church but to find one whose vision is open and affirming of faith in Christ for ALL people that we can support. We thought that at least one of the thousands of loving churches open to evangelical ministers in the area could be found open and affirming of ALL people. Rather, we have come across person after person who has been either looking for a long time, or eventually turned off and away by churches with exclusive ideas about faith in Christ.
This is why those of us who have believed in Unidiversal Faith in Christ for over 10 years have decided to follow the desire God has grown in our hearts to assemble in Praise, Worship, and Fellowship Services. This is not a “name it and claim it” game or a disposable idea to be started to test the water before moving forward. The desire God has placed in our hearts to reach out and create a haven that stretches outside traditional boundaries has already exceeded a decade and built far-reaching connections. The flow of faith in Christ for all people is quickly springing up and reaching throughout this continent and it's time to establish a local community to do the same.
As undenominational (applicable to all people with and without denominations) this ministry seeks to follow God’s leading in the Biblical Gifts of the Spirit and the call of the church as they are intended: for encouraging every person’s ability to magnify God and uplift others. The days of elaborate buildings and absorbatent church budgets are over. It’s time to set priorities of people over legalism, worship above policies, and inclusive fellowship in place of division. People desparately need Spiritual growth without intolerant judgment and condemnation. Jesus said to be “fishers of men” and it’s up to God where He wants to go with any individual from there, not us.
Let me know if services with this ministry would be an encouragement to you and what your interest might be. I leave it up to God to lead and open doors and He does it without fear, guilt, pressure, or condemnation. So feel free to share in this step of faith by the mercy and grace of God. There is no obligation or expectations, except to share in the love of Christ for all people. And if at any time anyone chooses not to participate, we love them just the same and welcome them any time. Who knows, maybe God will use your interest in Unidiversal Christian Faith to reach someone around you who needs a community of love and affirmation for their faith in Christ.
