“Exclusion has nothing to

do with reaching out or

encouraging faith.”

Revelation: If you are worthy

then you can not be reconciled to God

Salvation comes by Jesus’ worthiness alone.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me.

There is no one worthy of the sacrifice God made.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Let’s look at the beams in our own eyes

Bragging is not good, a little unworthiness contaminates all of our efforts?

1Corinthians 5:6 Your bragging is not good. Don’t you know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Are we unequally yoked with (committed to) unbelievers?

2 Corinthians 6:14 Don’t be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: because how much agreement can there be between righteousness and lawlessness? and how can light with darkness be mixed together?

Spouse? What about credit and retirement plans, employment, purchases, or what about in our daily lives with other issues?

There is only one thing that keeps people out of heaven and homosexuality is not it.

Satan uses all kinds of tools to diminish people’s faith in God. We usually think of things like murder, theft, rape, drugs, etc. Greed is the primary tool; greed in business, carelessness, religion, hospitality, and, yes, sexual orientation. It is time we feel a little more unworthy and a lot more “saved”?

How big is God?

Could God possibly be big enough to save everyone?

Is God bigger than the financial commitments we feel we need?

Is God bigger than abortions and does He have them under control?

Revelation: Can God deny reconciliation to anyone who believes in their heart?

How about to Homosexuals? To believe is to be reconciled (John 3:15-16, 12:46, Acts 10:43) God can not lie (Numbers 23:19). God’s Word does not return unaccomplished (Isaiah 55:11) Proving God is to prove His Word, so hold God to His Word (Matthew 3:10)

What the Bible doesn’t say is as important as what it does. Christianity and definitive homosexual condemnation do not mix in scripture.

Homosexual condemnation has become a ‘Trojan Horse’ of many religious and secular cultures. Rather than expressing the true uniqueness of the Christian perspective, most acclaimed believing groups have chosen to rival the various cultures in their rejection of those who claim to be sexually diverse. Homosexuals have been forced to actively pursue defense mechanisms that do not reflect faith in God’s exaltation above the situations. They do this to sustain some kind of mental stability in the face of condemning people driving them away from God and therefore away from stability.

Many have chosen to believe that they are un-savable. Many have chosen to leave rejecting homes and family relationships as unsalvageable. Many parents have chosen to disown children, young and adult, even if they only express possibilities of being homosexual.

Thankfully, many GLBT people have chosen to establish their own Christian denominations. But “some” have been most effective at reshaping the faith into more religion instead of placing faith ahead of sexuality; just like many former denominations. A massive challenge has been fought to try to express faith.

There is no scriptural direction to reject or condemn “definitive” homosexuals in the Bible without such things as violence, destructiveness, greed, and non-consensual actions. Further dividing traditional Christians; some persuasive homosexual Christians have tried to define many relationships in the Bible as “homosexual”, including: Jesus and the beloved apostle.

There is no “definitive” homosexual relationship identified in the Bible. Other believers have also tried to define Jesus relationship with Mary Magdalene and other women as sexual. There is no kind of sexual relationship of Jesus identified in the Bible.

Social guilt and condemnation have been wrongfully internalized, but God is bigger than anyone’s situation and can be glorified in every person’s life. Every believer must realize that God’s mold is specific to each individual person.

Homosexuality is not condemned apart from other issues in scripture. Homosexuality is not mentioned pro- or con- by Jesus, it was apparently not an issue to the Savior. Scripture and other historical writings point out that homosexuality was very much a part of societies at that time. Homosexuality is used as an example of anti-God rebellion when acted on in conjunction with violence. This is true for anyone of any sexual orientation.

Homosexual sins are not mentioned in scripture different than heterosexual sins except to say that heterosexuality is not to be rejected and replaced by homosexuality; because then as today, some unbelieving homosexuals do reject all heterosexuality.

Homosexual violence and wild lawlessness is no more or less condemnable than heterosexual violence and wild lawlessness. Weakness and manipulative indecisiveness (to be effeminate) have been religiously identified with homosexuality, but heterosexual weakness and manipulative indecisiveness has been religiously ignored by believers. The silence of believer’s confidence in God’s “bigger-than-everything” superiority is deafening concerning noncondemnational faith. The time is ripe to utilize the Bible for people instead of discouraging them.
