Tolerance & Mental Capacity

Some people find faith in beliefs that promote diminishing of others lives and personal choices.

What mental capabilities do living things have, how are they affected by pre-dimensional existence, and how are they affected by dimensional existence?

In physical existence we tend to identify mental difference as deficiencies, but are they?

Isn't everyone mentally different in some way, and sometimes in extreme ways?  So shouldn't we be looking beyond incapability's to find out what special capabilities exist in so-called mental deficiencies?

Are there any true mental deficiencies?

Tolerance - capacity to endure pain or hardship, sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one's own, the act of allowing something, the allowable deviation from a standard

Unidiversal beliefs are not an effort to condone tolerance as utmost priority. Tolerating is better than judging as judging is self-destructive and judging is synonymous with non-forgiveness. However, allowing efforts that allow diminishing of health and well-being are not to be tolerated.

The greed of medical professionals (researchers, insurers, servicers, etc.) and medical service recipients directly cause lack of health assistance to those who, otherwise, would be healthy and live fully productive lives.  Should that greed be tolerated?

Some people find faith in beliefs that promote diminishing of others lives and personal choices. Some of those beliefs even promote destruction of people's goals and abilities. Should those beliefs be tolerated?

And then there are those who have been historically critical of sciences and religions other than their own. Many scientists have become so overwhelmed by religious criticism that they became rebellious against religion even when they were avid believers in faith before. Which should not be tolerated: the scientists who have become rebellious against the religious or; the religious who have judged the scientists work intolerable?

Should people be surprised that mental abilities of humanity do not accept and tolerate each other's knowledge and beliefs easily? Accepting others knowledge and beliefs takes effort, to either verify or find verification unnecessary. Even though many religious and non-religious people are generally hard working individuals, laziness seems to be the answer to why people do not tolerate each other. Not only laziness on the part of those who should look into others efforts more rather than rejecting them, but also on the part of those being rejected in that many times efforts are not made to find the commonality of both on either side.

Either way, lack of effort to find commonality on both parts is the invariable steak that is driven through both of their hearts. Without finding commonality, no one is truly benefited by any cause and society is demeaned as a whole.
