"Judge Not"

If you're judging then you can not be reaching out

It has been a great downfall of religions to teach judgment and shame to followers. This has generally, sometimes unintentionally, brought judgment and condemnation onto individuals because they judge others. People tend to believe in significance of levels of judge-able actions, however judgment causes those same individuals to be judged (Rom 2:1).

You would think that that is the extent of judgment by individuals, but it is not. Being judged, especially on a regular basis and by groups, is effective in convincing those being judged to believe they are less deserving. If the judgment is believed and accepted for the judged individuals life, then that person is guilty of blasphemous rebellion even if the issue(s) being judged are not judge-worthy. Thus, the judge and judged are condemned until they can accept the fact that they are not unforgivable or are less deserving.

Likewise, what actions do we decide to have caused judgment before. It is recommended that revelations come by fear, trembling, and a great deal of heart searching beyond ourselves for we may only be accomplishing causing others to judge and be condemned rather than causing the intended freedom from judgment and shame (Rom 8:2).
