Just like a dam holding back a flood of destructive water, people's inability to comprehend God holds back unlimited understanding and abilities to access the ultimate source. God's very existence is capable of destroying humanity without leaving the slightest plume of vapor. This is not power, it is simply "given" in that a creator who made humanity and all of existence also has the innate authority to remove it all.
So, with the compelling exceptional greatness and authority of God over humanity, shouldn't people be uncontrollably compelled to "Do Anything Meaningful Now!"? Shouldn't everyone be overwhelmingly compelled to take action of whatever sort they can grasp? Won't people's intended place in eternity be eliminated if they do not have enough faith in God to do whatever they can to assist God in convincing others to gain faith and be saved from elimination of their intended place in eternity?
God is more than worthy of people's efforts. People are not capable of doing enough to grow their faith in God or share faith in God with others. True faith in God strives for greater understanding of God and, therefore, more compassion for people than our abilities can maintain. So why shouldn't anyone be compelled at any given moment to "Do Anything Meaningful Now!"?
It is an immature faith that follows the "DAMN" theory. It is not a wrong theory as everyone with true newfound faith goes through this stage of growth. Just like teenagers expressing newfound understandings and freedoms in life tend to test their limits, people of newfound faith do anything meaningful with urgency to express and promote their faith. It can be reckless but it is not a bad thing as it is evidence of some of the effects of God on people.
"DAMN" urgency is a natural reaction to the beginning of comprehension of the supernatural God. Such zeal is only negative if people choose to react immaturely, reject it as meaningless, be offended by it, or use it to manipulate others to disbelief. Newfound faith and zeal simply needs to be harnessed without breaking it's spirit. There is very little in life comparable to the excitement and urgency that is found in realizing greater comprehension of God. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people expressing their enthusiasm and realization of God. In fact, expression of enthusiasm is encouraged by most religions sustaining Unidiversal beliefs.
The only limits to expressing enthusiasm are such activities as discouraging health, wellbeing, or promoting discouragement or condemnation of others. Antagonizing others and simply throwing quick tidbits of information out to instigate reaction promote discouragement and condemnation of others. It is the pure love and careful consideration of Unidiversal Faith that reaches out to others with kind, thought provoking words that cut through all of the deep scars caused by past religious condemnation.
