Sea Anemone Fossils
Found in China

"And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind..." (Genesis 1:21a)

Soft bodied sea creatures, such as sea anemones and jellyfish, have been found petrified in abundance in China's Yunnan Province. This find has excited geologists, since boneless creatures usually rot away quickly and only fossilize under rare conditions. The deposit is especially remarkable because whole jellyfish and anemones have been found complete with tentacles and nerve cords. Researchers from the University of Montana want to analyze the mineral mixture around the fossils to find out what caused their amazing preservation.

The evolutionary model of origins dates these rare fossils to the Cambrian period about 525 million years ago. Paleobiologists, however, don't understand how fully formed, delicate and complex life appeared in the fossil record with little sign of evolutionary development. "Multi-cellular life just filled up the sea very suddenly," said UM geologist George Stanley. Researchers hope to discover more clues about the development of sea life through China's rich fossil deposits. At the same time, the so-called "Cambrian explosion" fits the biblical creation model of origins. According to Genesis 1, God created all sea life on Day 5, fully formed and ready to reproduce and fill the oceans.

EDITORIALS ABOUT SELF-REFUTING EVOLUTIONISM
The basis of evolutionary reports are not always as sure as they appear.  Long periods of time can only be speculative, not observable or provable, because no one currently or in recorded history could claim to have been there.  Speculations about fossils, astronomical observations, time dating, or any other pre-recorded history phenomenon is just that; "speculation".  The best way the average person has to review legitimacy of scientific claims is to capture multiple articles over time.  Many, many times information reported in self-proclaimed scientific articles is refuted by much later reports, sometimes by the same person who documented the original report.
This page is dedicated to collecting and presenting articles refuting evolutionary theories.  Most of the time you just have to read between the lines to see that past evolutionary theories are lost and disclaimed in the process of suggesting new theories.  In some cases evolutionary theories nearly prove Biblical creation without actually admitting to it.  For example:  Why do "scientists" believe that Mars experienced a global flood and earth could not have?  Why have "scientists" recently concluded that time is not a constant but the much higher speed of time in the past could not have affected carbon dating to appear as lengthy periods of time?  Why are "scientists" so willing to display fossils that they speculate to prove evolution but store fossils that could speculate the opposite out of public eyes?

Ancient Kennewick Man
Replicas Unveiled in Seattle
K-House News July 12, 2005

"So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth..." (Genesis 11:8a)

The skull and hipbone of an ancient Washingtonian were put on display in Seattle on Sunday. Discovered on the banks of the Columbia River in south central Washington State in 1996, Kennewick Man has been the source of much controversy. Local Native American tribes have sought to bury the remains, while scientists have longed to study the extremely old bones.

From measurements of the skull, anthropologists argue that the bones do not belong to a member of any local or historic Native American tribes, but may be from an Asiatic explorer. They would like to find genetic material for DNA tests, but do not currently have permission to probe for samples. Using a CAT scan to catch every lump and crack of the original, experts created a high-tech plastic reproduction of certain parts of Kennewick Man. On Sunday, these clear plastic models were unveiled in Seattle by a group of scientists who have been studying the find. The model even shows a stone spear tip healed over in the man's hip.

Early carbon dating tests placed the bones at between 7000 and 9500 years in age. "That's unacceptable," said University of Wisconsin geochemist Thomas Stafford, who wants to do another round of tests. "We really don't know how old this skeleton is." Through further study, the scientists hope to determine what Kennewick Man ate (his teeth are worn down to the nubs) and how he died. Calcium deposits on the bones offer information on whether he was buried or whether he drowned.

From the time of the Tower of Babel, humans spread out over the earth. They traveled to every continent and even to remote islands in the ocean. Amazingly, a large number took with them the story of a great Flood that covered the earth. Did Kennewick Man come from Central Asia, and how long ago? Through further testing, scientists hope to offer insight into the history of Kennewick Man and the first people to reach North America thousands of years ago.

REAPING THE
WHIRLWIND
(SCOPES TRIAL)
K-House News July 12, 2005

The famous Scopes Monkey Trial took place July 10-25, 1925, eighty years ago this week. Since then, the trial has been often reproduced (after a fashion) through the stage play and movie Inherit the Wind. Unfortunately, the play/movie takes extensive liberties with the facts. For a more accurate description of what really happened at the Scopes Trial, see the following excerpt from James Perloff's outstanding book Tornado In A Junkyard, 1999

HARVARD ENTERS DEBATE
ON EVOLUTION
Yahoo News August 15,2005

BOSTON (Reuters) - Harvard University is planning a scientific study of how life emerged on Earth, thrusting one of America's most prestigious universities into the growing, politically charged debate over an alternative to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.

Opponents of evolution theory said that Harvard's research project is proof that science has yet to disprove alternative theories, including the idea of "intelligent design," which is popular with America's religious conservatives.

Proponents of intelligent design argue that nature is so complex it could not have occurred by random natural selection, as held by Darwin's 1859 theory of evolution, and so must be the work of an unnamed "intelligent cause."

President George W. Bush entered the fray earlier this month when he said he believed intelligent design should be taught in schools along with evolution theory so people can better understand the argument.

At Harvard, the "Origins of Life in the Universe" study will cross various disciplines of biology, chemistry and astronomy to seek scientific answers to longtime questions about evolution, a Harvard official said on Monday.

Harvard tried to downplay the timing of the project, saying it was not in response to the debate over intelligent design theory, which has attracted so much attention that it was the cover story of Time magazine earlier this month.

"This is not something that began recently or something that began in reaction to what's going on in the larger environment," said Harvard spokesman B.D. Colen. "It's a project that began because scientists are seeking answers to some of the biggest questions ever posed."

But opponents of evolution theory say the project seems to indicate that science has yet to fully prove Darwin's theory.

"This is ... a stunning admission that the current theories do not explain it, and it has not refuted the idea that things are the product of intelligent cause," said John West, a senior fellow at the Seattle-based Discovery Institute, a think tank that backs intelligent design theory.

The Discovery Institute advocates that schools teach scientific criticisms of Darwin's theories.

The Harvard project, still in its early stages, will receive some initial funding from the university and also raise money from other organizations.

Harvard declined to comment on how much it planned to pay for the project, but the Boston Globe newspaper reported it would spend $1 million annually over the next few years.

David Liu, a chemistry professor at Harvard, said in the newspaper that while living systems are complex, science should provide the answers.

"My expectation is that we will be able to reduce this to a very simple series of logical events that could have taken place with no divine intervention," Liu was quoted as saying.
