Pastor Randy McCain
Founding pastor of Open Door Community Church in Sherwood Arkansas. Randy and his life-partner, Gary Eddy started the church in their living room when Randy was fired from the position of Associate Pastor and minister of Music at a Cumberland Presbyterian church. Randy was raised in the Assemblies of God denomination and traveled as an evangelist and served as Youth and Music minister in 2 churches. he also is a dramatist and has traveled extensively with his one person dramas, "The Life of Christ" and "The life of St. Paul." Randy is currently working on his biography with a working title "...And God Save Judy Garland." He and his partner , Gary met in 1974 when they were attending Evangel College in Springfield Mo. They remained long distance friends until 1992 when they made the decision to commit to each other for life. "I am one of the luckiest men in the world," Randy says, "I married my very best friend."  Gary is an accomplished poet and artist. He also has a house cleaning business.
